Topgolf is a multi-player game where the guest hits balls at targets to score points – think darts. Big in North America, we were given the opportunity to increase market appeal in the UK by rebranding and realigning this sociable, interactive game with the goal of growing market share.
To encourage growth and appeal amongst a younger audience, our research showed they held a negative perception of an elite sport for the older generation. These were the barriers we needed to break down for success.
To inject the element of fun and excitement into a sport perceived as old fashioned, we turned existing golf rules and regulations on their head – what was once prohibitive was now inclusive
With the rebrand, interior overhall and new marketing communications complete, we began the rollout at Topgolf Watford – managing the design and build phase through to completion and handover.
The redesign of the entire Topgolf environment within our UK sites has delivered a new level of experience for our customers. Concepts are seamless with food, drink and interiors linking together to communicate the story.
